iDecorate - Media Relations and Event Management

Overview

In a whirlwind of 2 years, iDecorate has established itself as the ultimate ‘go-to’ homeware & gift destination for the creative-conscious Hong Kongers after appearing on some of the city’s most stylish pages including ELLE, Home Journal, Tatler and SCMP. Popular demand and a staggering growth plan have taken the affordable luxury retailer from humble online beginning to offline, with the launch of its Level 9, Times Square walk-through store.

Strategy

Voltage held an engaging media, KOL and public launch event that featured a GIF photo booth. Guests were able to pose in sleepwear and play with iDecorate items that are shown on a display bed and share their final GIF images on their social media accounts. With a few recognisable faces in the crowd, Voltage sent a photo-release to the Entertainment press to further generate a range of coverage.

Results

• Voltage secured 29 clippings from this release which included 18 high quality features such as styling Hong Kong Tatlers new Facebook LIVE segment stage which prompted real-time comments from the public on iDecorate pieces • A total PR value of over $3 million was achieved at the end
