Bao Bei - Media Relations and Digital Campaign

Overview

Customers were indicating that it was a challenge to find Bao Bei down a basement space on Wyndham Street which made it difficult for Bao Bei to generate new customers due to lack of location awareness and obvious signage.

Strategy

Voltage produced a series of engaging and compelling "Find Me" content, such as time-lapses from well-known landmarks and train stations, maps and imageries that led online audience to Bao Bei. As an incentive, Bao Bei staff welcomed those who #FoundMyBaoBei with their delicious signature drink.

Results

• This campaign reached 93,671 users and had a total of 16.96% engagement rate though the industry average for social media campaigns is only 1% • With the increase of Facebook and Instagram views, this brought in new and paying customers through the door by generated social media buzz
